Gay Marriage Now

I envy the First World Countries – they truly evolved into society where every citizen is given the right to be happy. They came to a point that gay marriage and adoption (by gay parents) are already allowed. All studies regarding the high standards of living showed that these countries that allowed gay marriages (and adoption) or even Civil Union/Partnership scored very high in these studies.

I just can’t help but hope, that the Philippines could at least come up with a Civil Partnership Law that will allow gay couples to enjoy the equal benefits of the law – for taxation purposes, health insurance, healthcare, etc. I’m just hoping that this will happen in the next 50 years.

Let’s be wise – let’s vote for candidates that are at least tolerant or neutral towards gay people.

Stylish Gay Guys for Bench’s B/PROUD Campaign

Bench, one of the country’s leading fashion company, recently launched it’s B/PROUD Campaign. According to the Bench website, “The B/PROUD campaign was born from this need to overpower narrow-mindedness and empower the fearful and restrained.”

The website also encourages its visitors to “Support the campaign and tell us what being gay means to you today. Our hashtag: #100HappyGays.”

For me, being gay means being free from the norm and being bold enough to swim opposite the current.

That Hot Football Player Robbie Rogers

I’ve heard the news before that a high-profile football player came out as gay but it’s only now that I saw who it was. I was watching the video on ABC about 2013 being a Historic Year for Gay Movement and there he was – football player Robbie Rogers. He’s so gorgeous!

So I went over to Twitter, searched for his name, followed him, went to his website and read more about him. His full name is Robert Hampton Rogers II and was born May 12, 1987 (he’ll be turning 27 this year). He’s from Huntington Beach, California but currently living in Los Angeles. He’s a Winger (position in soccer) and is also the co-owner of Menswear Brand “Halsey” and a fashion contributor for Bello Magazine. That explains why he’s so fashionable.

He has a very impressive football career, starting as young as four and currently plays for the LA Galaxy since May 2013. He has numerous awards and recognition in his chosen field. He inspired everyone to be best at one’s chosen career (and sports) regardless of sexual orientation. I became an instant fan of Robbie Rogers.

Wentworth Miller for “Love Conquers Hate”

The star of “Prison Break”, Wentworth Miller, has been vocal in the protests against the Russian ban on gay propaganda. He recently wore a shirt with Russian words that translate as “Love Conquers Hate”. Other Hollywood celebrities are also supporting the protest against discrimination of the gay community in Russia.

I hope a lot more personalities would support this cause.

Since admitting that he’s also gay, Wentworth Miller has become an advocate for gay rights in the US.

Please tell me this guy’s name. He’s cute.
