The Incredibly Photogenic Jello Salva

When I saw the pictures of Jello Salva on Facebook, I can’t help but ask for his permission to re-post it here. He’s one of the most photogenic guys I’ve seen on Facebook and is currently being followed by 10,076 people.

I’ve checked his other pictures and profile and learned that he appeared on print ads for Robinsons Townville Regalado, the New Postal ID, Globe ChatPlus, ThaiDara Restaurant, among others.

Aside from his pretty looks, Jello Salva studied at Global Culinary & Hospitality Academy and works for Heaven In My Mouth and Zuellig Pharma Philippines.

I sure hope to see more projects for the incredibly photogenic Jello Salva.

Same Sex Marriage and the Presidentiables

If you’re a member of the LGBT community, a registered voter and still undecided on who to vote in the coming May 2016 Presidential Elections, let this infographic help you decide or trim down your choices.

Definitely, Binay, Santiago and Roxas are out of the question – simply because they’re thinking of their religion first before equal rights for all. So Poe and Duterte are the clear choice for People Like Us.

The Guys of Century Tuna Superbods 2016

I love summer. There are so many bikini open and contests that features shirtless guys. Aside from the Mossimo Bikini Summit, the other summer event that I’m always looking forward to is the Century Tuna Superbods 2016. This year, we have some amazing contestants.

I have to Google most of them since they’re basically new to me, aside from Clint Bondad and Ryan Sy. In fact, some of them are “invisible” on Google. Good thing all of them are on Instagram. I guess Instagram is indeed the new Facebook.

Ali Joshua – is into Mix Martial Arts (mma) and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (bjj). He has a wonderful wedding video on YouTube with Cristine Reyes.

Ameen Sardouk – studied at DLSU-College of St Benilde. He’s my bet to win this year! I love his smile.

Cedric Roxas – nothing much about him on the Net.

Clint Bondad – is a Filipino-German actor. He described himself on Instagram as “Trouble Maker, Sweets Lover and Hungry since 1994”. He can be seen on TV via the ABS-CBN telenovela “ Be My Lady”.

Erie R. Obsena Jr. – mentioned on Instagram that “Life is like a rollercoaster. It has ups and downs. But it is your choice to scream or enjoy the ride”.

Jake Khan – is a pilot and model. On his Instagram he said "Nothing can stop God's plan for your life". He also mentioned Isaiah 14:27.

Shawn Stansbury – is a Proud Filipino. There’s a quote on his Instagram: “Like a rose trampled on the ground you took the fall and thought of me above all”. He also mentioned Philippians 4:8.

Jerome Tan – is 1st Runner Up in Mr. Chinatown. He’s a Starmagic artist and a Main Model Management talent.

Joey Luz – studied at DLSU and Colegio San Agustin, Makati.

Tom Esconde -- nothing much about him on the Net either.

Culver Padilla – has this saying on his Instagram account: “The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively”.

Ryan Christopher Sy – is a print, TV, and ramp model from Mercator Artist and Model Management, Inc.

KJ Apa as Archie Andrews

Archie Andrews is a popular comic book character from Archie comics. He’s about to be portrayed on a TV series by gorgeous actor KJ Apa. I can’t wait for this series to be called “Riverdale”.

KJ Apa is an actor known for “Shortland Street” (1992). He stands 5’11” with a 33” waistline, brown hair and eyes. He’s represented by Red 11 Management.

He was born in Auckland, New Zealand and has 2 sisters. He loves to play the guitar. He was born in 1997 and is a Gemini.

I actually can’t find on the Internet whether KJ is just an acronym of his name or it’s really his name.

LGBT Rights in the United Nations

Thanks to the recent gay slurs of Manny Pacquiao, the issue of same-sex marriage in the Philippines is being discussed again in the media.

We should look at it on a larger picture. This is no longer about his belief on the Bible – this is all about the status of LGBT rights in the Philippines and worldwide. If you could just look at the article on Wikipedia regarding LGBT Rights at the UN, you would notice that there are 3 groups of nations on this matter. There’s the Pro-LGBT Rights, the Anti-LGBT Rights and those that stayed neutral.

LGBT_rights_at_the_UN.svg

Do we want to be among the Developed Countries or be included in those War-Torn countries?

UN Gay Rights

It’s sad to know that the Philippines belong to the 3rd group – those countries that remained Neutral/Undecided on the matter. While the Developed Countries approved same-sex marriages and the mostly-Muslim countries banned it, the Philippines neither approved it nor banned it.

It reminded me of a quote by Edmund Burke: "All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing". If we are to be considered as a fully democratic country, and if we are to uphold our own Constitution’s mandate of separation of Church and State, same-sex marriage should be legal in the Philippines.

We are not asking to be married in Catholic or any Christian churches. We are not demanding these institutions to change their ways to accommodate our gay rights. We are demanding the government, the State, to give us Equal Rights – including the right to be married and enjoy the benefits that come with it, in State institutions like Municipal and City Halls.

We are not demanding special rights. We are demanding Equal Rights.

UN Gay Rights 3

UN Gay Rights 2

As a founding member of the United Nations, the Philippines should adopt the decision of the majority of nations, in their resolutions. The Philippines should adapt same-sex marriage.

Let’s Vote For Manny

…if we want our kids to be educated on things that are not scientifically proven. Let’s vote for Manny – if we want our gay kids to grow up knowing that they’re the only species in the planet that has gay tendencies.

Manny Pacquiao has proven to be good in boxing. Today, he has proven how “knowledgeable” he is when it comes to science. If we want our beloved country to be as progressive as developed countries, then yes, let’s vote for Manny Pacquiao.

I firmly believe that Manny Pacquiao should invest his millions in watching Discovery and National Geographic so that he’ll learn the truth about science and about homosexuality in particular. I pity him. I sure wish he’ll have a gay son.
