Trops

Finally, a break for the finalists and winner of “That’s My Bae” – a dance contest on noon-time show “Eat Bulaga”. It will be a morning tele-serye before “Eat Bulaga” about friendship and tropa – “Trops”. It will star Kenneth Medrano, Miggy Tolentino, Joel Palencia, Jon Timmons, Tommy Peñaflor and Kim Michael Last. Also in the supporting casts are Taki Saito, Toni Aquino, among others.

I haven’t been watching “Eat Bulaga” lately and I’ve always wonder what happened to JV Suzara. Good thing “That’s My Bae” as a group has a Wikipedia article!

So It was actually Gab who made it to the final slot but he decided to leave the group to pursue an academic career. JV Suzarra replaced Gab as the 7th member of “That’s My Bae”. Unfortunately, JV also left the group. Too bad, I always love JV Suzara.

“Trops” is produced by TAPE Productions and will air on Monday, October 24, 2016.

Albus and Scorpius

I read the “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in one sitting yesterday. It’s a great play! I hope to watch it. It’s a continuation of the last Harry Potter book (Deathly Hallows) and happened some 20 years after.

Harry Potter has 3 kids now and one of them is Albus Severus Potter. Draco Malfoy has an only son, Scorpius. In a twist of fate, Albus is a bit rebellious while Scorpius is gentle and kind-hearted.

I don’t know if it’s just me or I was imagining a bromance between the two. The entire script is full of reference to bromance/friendship. It’s a good read.

In the play, Scorpius was played by Anthony Boyle while Albus was played by Sam Clemmett.

John Raspado: Mr Gay World Philippines 2016

John Raspado was the “hakot-award” at the Mr Gay World Philippines 2016. He represents Baguio City. At the end of the competition, he won the title as Mr Gay World Philippines 2016 and will represent the country in Mr Gay World competition.

Prior to winning last night’s title, which was stream live online via Rappler, John Raspado is the 1st ever Grand Winner of ABS-CBN’s “I Am PoGay” contest (on noon-time show “It’s Showtime”).

John Raspado is also a model, endorser, health and LGBT advocate. He’s into running, cycling, swimming, adventure and recreational sports.

However, my personal favorite in the Mr Gay World Philippines 2016 contest was Mr. General Santos City Peter Leary Brown (Top 10).
